San Diego Ballet’s mission is to excite, enrich, and entertain its diverse audience through an imaginative presentation of classical and contemporary dance.

Pointe shoes are an essential tool for professional dancers.  As an extension of a dancer’s foot, toe shoes  as they are more commonly known, enable dancers to balance on the tips of their toes, visually enhancing the light, suspended movements that define ballet.  Typically, a professional ballet dancer will go through 10 or more pairs or more, of expensive pointe shoes in one season.

$100        One Pair Pointe Shoes for One Dancer

$500        A Season of Pointe Shoes for One Dancer

$1,000    One Pair of Pointe Shoes for Each SDB Dancer

$5,000   A Full Season of Point Shoes for the Entire Company

Your generous donation will go a long way toward keeping the San Diego Ballet on its toes!  Thank you!
