Arielle Meads poses prettily Where The Turf Meets the Surf at Del Mar Racetrack Fairgrounds.

The track was built in 1937, by a partnership including actors Bing Crosby, Pat O\'Brien, Jimmy Durante, and Oliver Hardy.

Into the new century, the track offers some of the greatest thoroughbred racing in America.

The Fairgrounds also host a variety of seasonal events, trade shows, horse shows and the San Diego County Fair.

A San Diego favorite, the Fair features livestock, a midway, art shows, pig races, and fried food…on a stick.

Joined the San Diego Ballet

• This is Arielle’s  first year.

Arielle has trained with the San Diego School of Ballet since 1996.  She has attended numerous summer intensives including ABT Alabama, The Kirov School in Washington DC and North Carolina School of the Arts.   She has also performed in many productions with the San Diego Ballet and is excited to be dancing with the company this year.
