Caitlin began her training at 13 with Alyce Keaggy-Brinkmann at Performing Arts of Spring Grove. While dancing with their youth company, Illinois Dance Theatre, she had the opportunity to dance leading roles including  Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, and Don Quixote.   Caitlin  also danced with several guest artists from the Joffrey Ballet.  During her time at Performing Arts, she attended summer programs at the San Francisco Ballet School, Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Joffrey Academy of Dance and Milwaukee Ballet School.

After graduating high school, Caitlin went on to be a trainee with the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago for one year where she danced with the main company in Ashton’s Cinderella in Chicago and on tour in Los Angeles.  During the 2010/2011 season, Caitlin was a member of Milwaukee Ballet II, dancing on many community outreaches and performing with the main company.  Caitlin is excited to be in her first season with the San Diego Ballet.
