Joined the San Diego Ballet

Christine began her dance training at the age of ten with the Ann Judson School of Ballet in Christchurch New Zealand and then with Canterbury Ballet where she studied under Taisia Missevich. Christine has attended seminars and summer programs in multiple countries and competed on both a regional and National scale in New Zealand where she was a Semi- Finalist in the National Ballet Awards in 1997 and a Semi Finalist in the PACANZ Awards in 2000.

In 2003 Christine Moved to Melbourne Austrailia to study under Beverly Jane Fry at the National Theatre Ballet School before joining San Diego Ballet in October of the same year. Throughout her tenure at San Diego Ballet, Christine has enjoyed dancing ensemble and soloist roles finding them both challenging and rewarding. She looks forward to being a part of SDB’s upcoming 20th anniversary season.
