Kirsten began her dancing at the age of 4 in South Africa. After moving to San Diego at age 8 she began training at Black Mountain Dance Centre under the tutelage of Sylvia Palmer Zetler and Ahita Ardalan. Kirsten received honors on her Advanced II Cecchetti Exam, and has also received her Cecchetti teaching certificate. Kirsten joined SDB in 2004 and has performed many soloist roles. Kirsten has also performed with The Garage and Southern California Youth Ballet and is studying to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
