Elena began her training at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet; then continued at the Choreographic School of Voronezh and the Nureev Choreographic School of Bashkiria.
She has danced with the St. Petersburg State Theatre where she performed soloist roles in Giselle, Swan Lake, Nutcracker and Don Quixote. She then danced with Konstantin Tachkin St-Petersburg Theatre of Ballet, where she performed in Pakhita, Sleeping Beauty, LaBayadere and others. During this time, she toured countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America.
